Those new Presidential limousines bear so little resemblence to any car I don't know why they even bother. You can't see anyone inside so who would even know the President is in there? Might as well just put him inside a HumVee or any other armoured vehicle...

A friend sent that to me before Christmas. I have to be honest though boys, I can't relate, first I'm married for 27 1/2 years and second I could never do that to a Cadillac!

Isn't is really a symbol, the American President rides in the best American car. It is actually a GMC 2500 Topkick skinned with 8"armour doors, 5" glass, a 8 L diesel engine and oh ya apparently the headlihghts are Escalade and the grille is DTS!
The whole design of the car is such that it can withstand a prolonged ground assault so it is really a bunker on wheels.
I saw a report on TV about a guy who bought a presidential limo (Clintons?) and after removing the bulletproof glass he shaved 6000lbs off the weight of the car!

Hmmm, my understanding is that the Secret Service never allows any presidential limos to get into private hands because they are too worried people will copy them, use them for nefarious purposes, or study them to find weaknesses in current limos. They either all end up in museums or are destroyed....
