I am sure, someone will have better ideas than mine... Perhaps a flyer in the package, that comes to each house, with a special, to get people to you, for a oil change etc..  get Todd to hand out your card at Toyotatown  lol  Get the word out to the local gas outlets.. When I was in Exeter, we finally got to the point, that word of mouth, was our best advertisement... keep posting ads in Kijiji  (free) Old Autos  etc

Kijiji Woodstock would be a good place to advertise. Put ads in classic cars, cars for sale, parts for sale etc. Let the old car guys know you work on them too (and give a damn about them).

Advertising is the way to go. The more people that know there's a business, the more clients you will get. Advertise Online and offline.

Online- Have a website, create coupons, put your service in yellowpages, business listings, list on kijiji(as mentioned), list on craigslist, list on any local classified section, participate in local car discussions, (see what 427Carl is doing by placing your shop as his avatar, thats advertising too, more people will notice it).

Offline- Coupons, flyers, post flyers on bulletin boards( I know the PartSource I go to has bulletin boards at the entrance), business cards, bumper/window stickers, advertise in the newspapers. If you have a budget for local radio station.

Best method of all, and was already mentioned- Word of mouth. If your clients leave happy, then they will come back and tell others as well.

hope some of this helped a bit atleast.

offer more services-(sub-contract Todd to do auto appraisals through your shop)-you'll be surprised how many people come back once they feel your honest. The odd used car out front helps-a dealer license is good what you sell you can service, then get hooked up with Lubrico warranty on the used cars and become a repairer for them-amazing how many dealers around offer Lubrico but don't have service. If you can swing the pick up and drop off of a car for maintence while someone is at work this will sell.
