what would be neat to see, is take a really nice properly documented Beaumont, any year down there, promote the hell out of it, and see how it does

Some nice GM Heritage vehicles selling tonight. So far I caught one mistake by Steve Magnate, (who I have a lot of respect for on Mopars). A 75 Corvette convert. was crossing the block and he said this was the last year for a convertible Corvette 'til 84. Actually it was '86. He also called it a roadster which is technically incorrect. The last Corvette roadster was 1955.

Defintion of roadster is commonly known as a no roll up windows, ie. side curtains that snap, zip, or otherwise attached with no roof or retracting/removable top. After 55 Corvettes became convertibles with roll up windows. A lot of people still call them roadsters though.

Thanks, somehow I thought it had to do with a folding winshield frame-yes roll up windows were always part of it being a convertible. Funny how unprofessional these guys are-see them trying to auction the car the already auctioned for Charity ?

Yup, gotta like the 57 chevy I honestly thought 150 was low, considering its pedigree, also liked the 55 T-Bird #1,600 grand , Pratt just signs his his name like a coffee in a hotel. reminds me I once saw a either 68 or 69 Beaumont 2DrHt, little ol lady had it, I saw the VIN through the windshield on the dash, last #s were 00015, I almost crapped my pants, little ol lady showed up, "get away from my car, as she gets in it", "wanna sell it!", "NO!" as she rolls up the window. it was a ligt silver blue color, no vynl top, bench seat car, colum auto, light blue int. Lowest #s Ive seen, it would have made it car number 14, neat
