WOW is right!.

I don't know about the 6 L72/M22 Biscaynes produced ever being a verified fact though?.
Although it's here in Ontario, is this a US built car so no Canadian docs available?.

Sadly, the L-72 is long gone, leaving a '75 454 in its place. disbelief

I wonder if this is the same guy who had a 67 427 4 spd Bel Air 2 dr post on e-bay about 4 years ago. It's now in the collection of  a top fuel drag racer whose name I can't recall right now. His name was Marc and he lived in Burlington.

Mark's 67 427 Bel Air went into Bruce Littons collection. I have spoke with Mark afew times and don't remember him saying he has a 69???? This 69 is a US built car, you can tell from the cowl tag, it does not say Made In Canada. I can see 1 of 6 being a canadian production #. I have see GM docs and other solid info on 2dr post 427 4spd cars and all of them have been approximately 1 of 6-8 or so. From 67-68 years.

If that is 'Scuncio' Tony's old car, I sourced him an Nos 1/4 glass for it and had a few messages w/ him about it..
Although no docs, I recall he found a few L72 specific items when digging into the car like spring tags etc..
He's a great guy and I can PM you his email address if you want it?.

other than he bought it from brad in mt albert about '79/'80?, not much else. he had put a turbo 400 trans in it because it was always breaking 4spds and driveshafts. my friend reinstalled a 4spd, put new fenders on it. he sold it a couple years later, it went to a 'community' garage, the garage had a fire, don't know if the car was saved??? was lemans blue, blk interior...
small world, i went and looked at a 2dr post cutlass last march in keswick, talking to the guy, his voice sounded familar....asked him where he was from originally, mount albert..."you remember a blue '69 biscayne from there?" turns out to be the owner who sold it to my friend.

Well, I got back from Ontario last night around 6:30 with this Biscayne stashed securely in an enclosed trailer. I contacted Marc P (the seller, and a very nice guy) after the auction ended. After a couple of days of phone calls we agreed on a price, and he also offered to keep the car safe and sound in his garage until the weather was nice enough for me to come for it.
So I planned on Easter weekend, drove from Fredericton to Ottawa Thursday. Left for Burlington Friday @ 6am. Loaded the car and NOS parts up and hightailed it back for Ottawa.
Weather and traffic weère both very co-operative. I had a day to rest on Saturday, and then headed back to NB yesterday morning at 6:30. ( As soon as I hit the turn off at Riviere-du-Loup, the snow started, luckily iy wasnt sticking.)
Its snowing here today as well, but Ive got to unload the car sooner or later.
Mark, once again, thanks for your offer to check the car out for me, and Carl, thanks for keeping it quiet. I didnt want to let the cat out of the bag till I had it home with me.
Ill post some photos later on.

PS- what button do I have to hit on my keyboard to get rid of the french punctuation feature.
My apostrohes come up as è.
