here you go, electric powered chevelle!... i've been thinking about building one too, for the heck of it... and can be pretty quick, and chirps the tires between 'voltage' shifts... 100mi? thats pretty darn far...almost all of my commuting is done 10-15km at a time...
I think I would drink a lot of Jack Daniels, and watch old car movies....Dream 'bout the way it was...LOL

The modern muscle is just as much fun as the old stuff. I enjoy both but if the time comes when I can no longer drive my old cars on the street, so be it. I will drive the newer ones. And if you think it will "never" happen, think again. How many horse & buggy setups do you see going for a cruise? Change is inevitable. Enjoy your old cars well you can because there will be a day when they will be only for show. Maybe not in our lifetime but it will happen.... Just my
I guess before I gave up on it I would try my best to comply, Swap a modern motor in it maybe a GM 5.3 ,keep it fuel injested upgrade the brakes and already have a shoulder belt in my 69 Beaumont, modern exhaust with Cat. converters. Wait a minit is this turning into a resto mod.
