thanxs. i'm taking a trailer tomorrow morning to grab all the extra stuff. i'm happy that i finally got a convertible for the wife. i really didn't want a bug. the only down side is the rat wagon got pushed farther into the garage.

274 convertible 2+2's made in 1970. The word on the street is that there were only 4 with 454's. Most of the rest had 300 hp 350's. A few had 265 hp 400's, and a few had 350 2 bbl's (can't remember the hp rating).
1329 hardtop 2+2's made in 1970. The word on the street is there were 40 with 454's.
While most 70 2+2's had vinyl interiors, some had cloth "Houndstooth" interiors. It's very similar to 69 Camaro houndstooth, just a shade darker.
Clint, whatever happened to Larry Kosek's car? For the rest of the guys, that is one of the four 454 verts. It came out of Lethbridge originally I believe. It is even "red" (carousel red) like Steve's car. It was the cover car on Smoke Signals a few years ago, I will have to see if I can find that issue.
BTW 350 2bbl was rated at 250hp.
