Unless something major is req'd, it may be worth getting the Beaumont running and moving around under it's own power before you try again?.

Your RX7 looks like a sweet one too but nobody seems to want to spend much on anything these days...January is especially bad!.

If you eBay them again, maybe try them w/ no reserve and starting bids of what you'd accept?.

Good luck!

I use eBay for that exact purpose, to get something for nothing. I have had good success at turning junk into cash. I have no expectations of ever getting top dollar from the things I list, this way I am totally surprised when I get a good buck. To be honest I feel bad sometimes at what people have paid for my junk.

When I buy I am as cheap as they come, I thought that's what ebay is all about, getting deals.

A deal is fine but they want a steal

True enough, right now I am selling old hockey equipment and I can't list it fast enough. I can even sell hockey socks, I can also sell auto literature right now, and before christmas video games and a Wii. In the playoff season I can sell hockey souvenirs too. Everything has a selling season and right now I think it is not the time to sell an old car. I think I would hold off until March or April if I was trying to sell a car like yours.

Wouldn't you think that the market is a true test of somethings value? Anything is really only worth what someone is willing to pay, and ebay allows you to expose to many more buyers than a local ad. Your hockey stuff is worth more than you thought, and the car is attracting less than you want to sell for... I agree that one has to look at how the car is marketed (perhaps needs better photos?), getting it running (saves $ on shipping costs) all this plays into how well you can sell something...

eBay is a hard place to sell a car that's not running. I heard that from many people. Shipping a non-runner is expensive, and hard to get a carrier. Get it running and post some fresh pic's would be my advice. Even then it is still tough right now to sell anything. I've had no luck selling my Porsche other than lowball offers. Good luck
