I went to visit my old car I sold about 2 1/2 years ago. He is doing the reassembly after paint and asked for a bit of help with a couple of things.
Boy, it brings tears to my eyes. 455, tripower, M20, 12 bolt posi, almost every power option, air, am/fm, tilt, tach and gauges etc........
All this on a very solid original car still sporting it's original quarter panels, trunk floor, frame and doors.
Pics don't do the colour justice. It's redder than it shows, this looks orangish.
Oh, and if you happen to know the current owner of the car he would prefer to keep it's location and ownership low key at his point so please be considerate of his wishes. He allowed me to post pictures of it on the condition that it's details remain unknown. It will be hard to miss once it's out on the road though!!!

And you used to OWN it and you Sold it have you had this condition long?? and you sold a 4 speed GP? AND a SD 455 'BIRD? WHERE DO WE SEND THE DONATIONS for your rehab. lol
Those are the cars that started the clone process to me. I've always wanted to take an early GTO, put on a flat hood and change the emblems to LeMans. One of my best friends did that back in 72 to his mother's 68 SD396 Beaumont. She ran into a tree and bent the front a bit. He bought the car back from the lease company(one of the 1st families I knew who leased cars) behind his mother's back. We got a flat hood from a wrecker, took the side stripes off it and even sawed off one of the tailpipes to make it look like a 307 car. It was truly a sleeper.
