14X7 snowflakes with new BF goodrich T/A's Price drop, $400

14X7 snowflakes with new BF goodrich T/A's.Less than 900 klms use. Full set of 4 in excellent condition. They are just too small for my '79 Trans Am. Will trade for 15X8 Turbo wheels or $500 obo.

Hi Hillar , Ray & Ken. I'll have to go out to the storage garage and check, but I think 225/ 60? Yes they are gold inlaid. They really are in nice shape, no salt marks or corrosion, just the wrong ones for my T/A. Like a lot of things on that car I didn't pay attention when I was buying it. The car is rust free and winter stored since new, so I was blinded by the body condition. I'm trying to buy a set of 15x8 Turbo style wheels for it. I also have a chrome roll bar and chrome traction bars for it that I want to get rid of. Like I said, rust free bodies on T/A's get me all starry eyed!

Earl, a guy was here today bought a rad support for a TA, says he knows of a 21,000 mile 80 TA that is being parted in N.Y. says the cowl back shell can be had for $1000 suppose to be rust free. He said he'll send me pictures-if your interested I'll forward them.

These 14 inch snowflakes came on late 70's GP's and GA's they are quite uncommon, I'd like some tires for a set of 14 inch rallys I have-thinking P215 or P225 70 -so a 225 60 would similar height to the 215 70, might work for me.

Ken

BFG Tire Chart

If they are 225 x60 I think they are too small to replace 215 x 70. When I got my car that's what he had on it but it looked silly so I cross referenced the factory F70x14 to a 215x70x14. The tire is an inch bigger in diameter and fills the wheel well properly.

Hi Ken It's an 87 T-top. 5.7 TPI automatic. It's Autumn Maple (dark metallic red) Original paint, stock gold trimmed rims. Fabric interior, most options. It has 179000 klms (i think). It's a project car. The engine smokes and needs a rebuild. Clear coat is peeling, needs tires, A/C to be hooked up, bunch of tinkering. $1900 firm the way it sits. It can be driven but it smokes big time, so best to trailer it.

Earl, this guy is looking for a clean turn key car but that sure sounds interesting, great color ! much rust on the body ? I assume no T-roof ?

It's a T top, the body is clean, very little rust, but it needs to be done. My friend has the same car almost, his is in very good to excellent original condition, same colour, around 110 klm, he bought from original owner. It's a turn key, top notch car. But it's not cheap.

He was talking to me about my $6900 83 TA, so I don't think he's too cheap-seems most decent IROC s are $10,000 ?
