Might have been in a storage garage fire? I heard about a Cadillac Allante' this weekend that was in storage and the car beside it burnt. The only damage to the Allante is the car cover melted and marked the original paint. This car was a low mileage mint condition car and is going to auction this weekend. But it will have a salvage title and prices on them have tanked already. Just a parts car now.
Kind of neat. I just went and checked the block casting number. It's correct for the car. Then I checked the block code stamped on the front. F0829PP Makes sense. 0829 is August 29th, the car is made first week of September. PP is 283 with Air Condtioning. Looks like it has the original engine too! Bonus!!!

So, is there still burt remains of the A/C hanging under the dash?
Doesnt that just suck!
I looked in the car before I looked under the hood and I had no idea it had air! Nope, burned to a crisp. Now that I know, I can see remnants of the evaporator core but that's it!
