Just discovered, our Beaumont was one of the very first cars built on the last day of production. Date code; 1-7-19. first shift, July 19th. sequentials in VIN end in 588xx. 8,910 Beaumonts made that year, minus the approx 90 cars a day, puts her right in there as one of the first cars on the last day
Please explain the date coding. Where did you find it? If you had a full vin number how would it decode? I would also like to see pictures. I love seeing new 65 Beaumonts.

Tacken from Classic Canadian Beaumonts by Kens Klassic Kars site back in 2002 . I printed the artical and plased in binder. All other years are the same as you posted, but 65 differs, His said 6644 produced. But all these figures might not take into fact export cars as you stated. His information comes from Old Autos and Canadian cars 1946-1984 by Perry Zavitz. Also states production totals were based on calender year registration for each year. not sure what that means.

Ian
thats were i got them, but i didnt care about that far back then, thanks for the info
if that figure is for 1964 than it would include jan to july 1964 cars and sept to dec 31st 1965 cars,as thay were actually built in 64,if it is calendar year totals
I have to agree based on my 69 number the all seem to be out by a couple of thousand. If i new when the last day of production in 69 I could probably figure out how many more from my cars number.
am i to asume beaumont and acadian is acadian in the totals until september 1967, than just beaumont until 69 because acadian would have been built in detroit?
Well thats 10281 plus your 2533 = 12814 just have to figure how many made from 10/18 until end of Dec 68. How many working days X round out to maybe 90 cars per day. About 51 work days X 90 = 4590 Add that all up 12814 plus 4590 = 17404 Clints car 15480 from that =1924 cars to end of July maybe. Dam close.
To much time on our hands. I guess production for each day could have bin lower or higher also. Who knows 80's one day 90's the next.
