spent the day in the garage

since i was working on 3 different vehicles i figured here is the only place to post what i did today.

i needed the engine stand for later in the day so the 409 went on the shelf.

pulling the 454 for the jeep

check out the 4 bolt mains and finned aluminum oil pan

70 LT1 350 out of the jeep and on the stand for awhile

454 bolted together with farmer 4 speed and gear driven transfer case. very heavy

tomorrow, put the beaumont in the portable garage, jeep in the driveway. and bring the 2+2 in and start dismantling the caprice.

  Steve,

I have to get some of that shelving for my garage, where did you get that, nice and strong to hold a block, I like it.

when the local canadian tire moved they sold their old shelving by the piece. i went in and bought 30 ft worth. the shelfs are 2x3 ft and i have the wall side screwed into the studs. if you see any stores remodeling or closing up i would get in there. if anything i didn't get enough.
