South American Built 1969 Beaumonts

I saw this on Team Chevelle. The guy from Chili  that is a member here (Sorry. I don't remember his user name on here) has a website that has quite a few pictures of the South American built 1969 Beaumonts. I just noticed that all the cars that he has shown as 69 Beaumonts are 1968 bodies. Has anyone else noticed that? Check the link below for the pictures.

His username is Micky. I believe the '68 body was a carry-over. They never used the '69 body in Chile.

Very interesting reading, Looks like there were 1500 total in 10 years . Did you notice they had fiberglass hoods and tunks and were all six cylinder cars.

In 1968 it makes from it in Canada was sent beaumont 1968, after a long step to obtain the permissions to sell the car. profit to remove to the market in 1969, aceptance to be sold model 68 like 1969, In the next year happen the same sold model 68 like 70 and the following equal year. since the car were of the great prestige in our country in that year not import much

It is estimated that the country is putting a total of about 1,500 cars of the mark in the ten years it was in production

wow thats not very many?
i imagine they have their own serial numbers?not includes in our production.

i see that 1971 got  a steel big block hood?wonder if our excess stock went down there?

wonder why they didnt use any 69 parts after the 69 model year?

I believe that the production was greater the numbers of manufacture were done or invented here. pieces of the 69 were not used because the model that I only arrive at Chile was the one of the 68. it see that in this document that the modifications and completions are to criterion of tecna Chile.
