I concour Ray! I like the sound of that V8 that these are going to run but the V6 is also 300 hp. Wonder if the Insurance companies already know....

Mustang GT V8 is rated at only 9 hp more than Camaro V6.  I would love to see a heads up comparison between those two, particularly with respect to handling and braking.  I think the Camaro will be the much better car on the track.

This is a post from my friend Elie on another board who was part of the test mule group on the pre-production cars.  He knows a lot more about what is going on than I do.

"The vast majority (but not all) of these pictured cars are the V6's destined for dealers' showrooms. Each dealer in North America will be receiving at least 1 V6 car at first, to have as a "floor sample".
Most of the early production will be for these cars with some of the already 13,500 pre-ordered vehicles mixed in.
These "dealer" cars are slated to all be made in silver, black, yellow and red.

There are no constraints currently on either of the blues (Imperial and Aqua). White is a mid-year addition to the colour palette and the Cyber Grey Metallic will also be delayed until a few weeks after the "official" start of production next week. The plant has to finish off the grey that is currently being used on the Malibu before the CGM goes into production."
