Portland swap meet Apil 3

Anybody going to the Portland swap meet? I'm on Vancouver Island and am looking for people who want to go. I'm taking a truck with a canopy and staying for my 48 Hrs min before crossing back over. I also have a flat deck for people that are really looking to load up. Either will work, let me know.

when i sailed on the west coast with the navy in the late 80's i made the run down for the weekend, what a weekend. i remember walking past rows of blowers. i don't know if it is still that large, of all the swap meet I've been too that one was the largest.

It's big and I'm looking for some guys to share the cost of the trip. If it doesn't work out for this one Monroe is in May and it's good too. Let me know.

When I was station to the Comox BC air base, I've been to the Monroe swapmeet but never been to the Portland one.

Marty, if you want to team up for monroe let me know. It's normally the same deal. I cross later on a Friday which gives me my first day for customs and spend the night on Saturday. Between the two you get 48 Hours and 400.00 duty free. If others are interested that will work, my truck is a 04 Chev extra cab. I normally put a order into Biscay ahead of time to bring to the meet. Big items like one piece floors, trunks, doors, etc, are good because the shipping is nuts.
