Nothing from the Fiberals and McSquinty is any good. The guy is a professional lier. No new taxes, yeah right, well the $900 health care levy still comes out of my wallet, I don't care if you call it a tax or not. Now get ready to pay an extra 8% on a whole slew of things, gas, heating oil, nat. gas, electricity, water, sewer - these are all things that are more or less necessities that people can't cut back on, unless I turn my thermostat down to 60* and start showering once a week, maybe build an outhouse as well? disbelief

H-Tax won't be good thing and the fact they're laying it on us in the midst of a troubled economy means one thing...they need $!!!
Many things that are only one tax now will be two..
Especially hard hit will be families w/ kids as previously Pst exempt things like kid's clothes, footwear, car seats etc will be gone..
There's lots we all buy that only have one tax now tampoons, toilet paper and more..
The G-men probably have a few twists ready to impliment over the next few years too...first they'll lay rebate checks on us to feel good for the moment, then lower the H-Tax a few points so they can say it's gone down.. Then they'll bring back the Gst or whatever they want to call it saying a short term thing and no different really as we've had two taxes before and they were temporary too.. All a trickster way to raise taxes really as the combined taxes will be more than what we pay now..
