Seeing I'm a "newbie" I better tell you about my beaumont history: I bought my first beaumont in 1981 in Abbotsford BC for $3300 69' beaumont custom, 307 ,benchseats, auto, green. One year later did up a 350/325 horse fourbolt main 194 heads, then did up a nice turbo 350. I had the car for 5 years, then sold it to my brother, told my brother not to take the car apart, of course he didn't listen to me. The car was kept in the garage (basket case) , many years went by , we did not talk to each other, he one day called me telling me he wanted me to have my beaumont back . So now I have my beaumont back (be it in pieces). I know lots of guys regret getting rid of their first car but I finally got mine back after 24 years. And yes i will NEVER let it go again. Inclosed are pictures of my car now.
5 years ago my friend Mark had a 65 beaumont s/d, i bugged him many times to sell it to me and he refused, till one day he found a 67 chevelle, the car of his dreams. So I got the chance to buy the beaumont, I am going to put the 350 out of my 69 into the 65 and later out a big block into my 69(396). So this is my story , You'll be seeing and hearing from me alot. July 20th 1965 -latest 65 beau on here 3837 Sport deluxe hardtop 283ci S- sierra tan met. 969-must be saddle ,think this colour only came with saddle and black on SDs M35-powerglide
