I know what you mean Carl. This guy has some nice iron, but never puts a price on it. That always means it's too much money.

Even his website has no prices. Why bother, by the time you email and get a response back to see it's overpriced?

If you can speak french or have someone who can it helps things along. I contacted them about a 427 Parisienne about 6 years ago, turns out a member on here bought it. Once I called they told me the price right away, but it was too rich for me at that time. He kept calling me for two weeks after too.

I own that 69 Parisienne. All I can say about that dealer is that his salesman signed a contract with me to supply some original parts to the car when I bought it in 2003. It's now going on six years later and they've been promising them but have never delivered.  Last time I contacted them in Nov 2007, they promised to get back to me in a few days after they talked to John as he is apparently the keeper of the parts. Never heard from them since.

Even though I was happy with the car & the price I paid, I'm not sure I'd buy from them again just because they didn't deliver on a contractual commitment they made to me. Imagine if I owed them money - I'd never hear the end of it until it was paid. I guess I should send them a bill - think they'd pay it?

As to pricing, yes I think they can be too high. They have a 67 Impala convt there now that they want $50K for. It's advertised as an ss427 convt but if it is an ss, it is not a Z24  ss427 with the special hood, etc. And the motor is a non-original one, said to be a 1969 (to his credit the salesman was up front about that).  It may be nice, but it's way too much without being a Z24 SS427 and without its original motor. Who knows even if it was a factory big block? By comparison, a real 1968 Z24 ss427 Impala convt sold at an auction in Arizona in January for $54K

Correct 67 dated bare block would run $6, 000 with all other parts and build $10 plus. Then add the correct hood $5 to $6, 000. thats big bucks
