- 3:00pm - 6:30pm: Registration for the 6th annual A&W-hosted Hot Nite In The City Poker-Run at the Plaza Heritage Hotel (located on the corner of Victoria St. and 4th Ave).
As soon as you have completed your registration for the Friday HNITC Poker-Run and Saturday HNITC Show-n-Shine, you can begin your Poker-Run (starting from the Plaza Heritage Hotel). - 3:00pm - 8:30pm: Running of the 6th annual A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-Run!!!
- 5:00pm - 9:00pm: The last stop of the HNITC poker-run will be the Lansdowne Village A&W with secured parking for a Show-n-Shine, great A&W food, fun activities for the whole family, and prizes!!! This will be a family-oriented, hot Night in the city event, so make plans now, to stay until the 9:00pm closing!!!
Saturday, August 8, 2009:
- 5:00am - 11:00am: A&W-hosted HNITC breakfast
- 7:00am - 10:00am: Plaza Heritage Hotel special HNITC breakfast buffet - 8:00am - 9:30am: Registration for the 15th Anniversary HNITC Show-n-Shine!!!
Note: If you have a group that wants to park together, your group must arrive together; absolutely NO RESERVE PARKING.
- 10:00am - 5:00pm: Running of the 15th Anniversary HNITC Show-n-Shine.
Spectators: As you are admiring the vehicles, please remember to keep belt buckles, rings, baby carriages, bikes and any other sharp objects away from the vehicles! You'll never know the amount of sweat and money that goes into each vehicle, until you build your first collector vehicle!!!
This year there will be two stages to provide great entertainment during the Show-n-Shine!!!
Hot Nite In The City souvenir apparel will be available at the Kamloops Embroidery booth, located on Victoria Street, during the Show-n-Shine.
The Thompson Valley Radio Controlled Race Club will showcase their racing expertise during the HNITC Show-n-Shine!!! You can watch them race their RC vehicles at the end of the 500-block Victoria Street.
- 5:00pm - 6:00pm: Awarding of the HNITC Trophies and Awards:
- HNITC Poker-Run prizes for the top three poker-hands (a total of $4,000 in prizes will be won by the top 30 poker-hands from Friday's A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-run)
- HNITC Show-n-Shine Best/Top trophies In addition to winning a trophy, winners of the following 5 Best/Top awards will be offered the opportunity to have their vehicle's picture on next year's 2010 Hot Nite In The City T-Shirt: Best in Show Top Ford Top GM Top Mopar Top Highway Tractor

- 6:30pm: (train departs station at 7:00pm) Kamloops Heritage Railway Tour (please arrive by 6:30pm; the No. 2141 heritage train leaves the station at 7:00pm for a 70 minute tour) HNITC-special rates for HNITC participants (and their riders): (You must bring your HNITC participant's card (in your goodie bag) for special rates)
- 7:00pm: Music in the Park: Riverside Park Bandshell

Pete; I was there last year. Had a great time. My sister lives in Kamloops, so it is easy for me, as I have a place to stay after a 3 hour drive from Aldergrove.
Not sure if I will be able to make it this year though as I have family vacation in Penticton the same timeframe.
