This is the first time for me to post on this web site, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Imran Chaudary, I have a few GTO's that I have collected. I just retired as the President of the Classic GTO club of Ontario, this year I will be taking it easy and hopefully have more time to work on my projects. I am still a member of the club and I would like to invite everyone to our first show of the season, on June 7th at the HMP Pontiac dealership, this is a Pontiac event only, it is south of Hamilton on the corner of Centenial parkway and hwy 20, (across the street from Fortinos). Last year we had a great showing of over 60 cars, if it was not for the rain it would have been more, POCI was there and they covered the event, it is free to all who show up, I hope to see and meet some of you there. cheers Imran
I met you before at the 2002 20 year anniversary of the GTO association club of Ontario in St Thomas at Jim's restaurant, I came all the way from Comox BC. I used to be in that club back in 1988 when I lived in Trenton Ont. Is Pontiac Pete and his wife still around ?

Hello Imran and welcome also, we have been talking about coming to Hamilton and another member you may know in Ancaster has invited Hillar, me and 65Camino for a BBQ that day. My question is about the quality of the cars. My car is described in my last appraisal as a low #2. Do you think it would be okay to come with a car of that quality and not have people point and laugh at it?

Although it would be neat to see 60+ Pontiacs, It is sounding more and more like my '73 would be the ugly sister and not up to standard for this event.
thankyou for the great welcome, I will post some pics of my cars, 73 SC it does not matter the condition of your car, If you drive it and enjoy it, you need to bring it out, besides there are not going to be to many 73 A-bodys around, Bill will be bringing his 73 LSC as well, it will be great to see many of you there with your rides. Hey Hillar just because I let you drive my ram air Trans Am doesn't mean you get a chance at the 73 SD, shot gun?

So you think my car is Okay to bring among all of the numbers matching and iconic Pontiacs everyone is talking about ? If Hillar is up to it he can ride Shotgun with me.
ok there can only be one guy around here with that name,PONTIAC PETE. is this the gut with the iron fence company.I took my neighbour to pick up a 64 gto convertible that he bought from this guy to go with his 66 gto rag and 68 firbird rag. Pete had 10 cars in his shop and it was like a kid in a candy store.he had complete motors and rear ends and trannys everywhere, and a very nice guy to talk to also.
Welcome to the site. I love those 69 cars. I used to drive the heck out of my brothers 69 police interceptor 400 car way back when. ... those were the days !
