Saw this one on tuesday, and left a card on it.....Also followed a guy with a 65 parisienne 4door hardtop, gave him a card as well, he said he also has a 2 door hardtop 65.... Hopefully they will check us out and sign up..(I didn't have my camera when I seen the 65.)

Why do people put the emblems in the wrong place? Do they just not know any better? Here is a beautiful car, except the Gills are pulling air, intead of pushing, the fender emblems are "SD trunk emblems(a real waste of 2 rare parts).
There is a 67 in Wpg with the same problem(only much worse).
Maybe it is just for conversation, but it sure bugs me. Especially when it is an very nice restored car, and they all the holes are drilled wrong. An expensive fix.

Seems to happen a lot. The thing is not everyone is an expert and I think they do what they think looks nice to them. Here is a photo of a '73 GTO, first how many has anyone ever seen and second what is wrong? Probably 95% of people don't know and it doesn't make any difference to them.

It is actually a Grand LeMans grille with the GTO emblem on the wrong side. More than that I asked the owner to lift the hood and it is an entire Grand LeMans front clip complete with 350 2bbl emmision label. VIN engine code is T which is a 400 4bbl and is right for a GTO.
Car was in a bad front end crash and all they could locate for the repair was the GLM clip. At least it's driveable.
Saw these while out driving around today....The 63 was real straight looking, but couldn't get up beside him to give out a card.....Sask plates on it.... The other one is atop a container in an industrial area, don't know whats going on with it...

I saw these in Cold Lake Alberta on my way to the Air show on Saturday. I talked to the guy who lives upstairs from the owner and apparently he is willing them to his children despite the fact that they obviously haven't moved in a while. They all seem pretty solid. I couldn't get any cowl tag shots as the owner was asleep (works the night shift) and the guy didn't want to wake him.
One is a 64 Custom Sport with tilt. (Don't know about the engine on any of them) One is a 66 Parisienne station wagon. (straight and only saw rust behind the rear wheels) and the last is a 66 Laurention.
(If you look close you can see my long suffering wife in the family minivan (Pontiac of course!) waiting patiently in the background of the 64 custom sport shot)
Oh well....
