I would like to keep this thread current as of my last email with Paul at the POCI office we are very close to submitting an application for the Chapter to the POCI board. 
I have forwarded the emails that I received and I'm not sure if he has the required number of charter/founding members yet or not.
Please email me Halletts1@chartermi.net your information asap if you would like to get into the founding group for the Canadian Pontiac Specialty Chapter of POCI.

I have made my reservations for Dayton and there are very reasonable accommodations available.

I posted a thread about this on PY Forum. In one week it has two responses. If this is going to get done it will need support from guys on here. Here is a way to keep Canadian Ponchos alive forever despite the news of GM axing Pontiac. Who else has signed up.

I want everyone to know we have our 12 charter members and they will be receiving an email from Paul at POCI HQ instructing them to join POCI as the first step.
Paul has drafted a list of things we need to do for certification from the POCI board.  Anyone that receives an email from Paul will be welcome to volunteer for interim officer posts, newsletter editor and technical advisors.  You can email myself Halletts1@chartermi.net or Paul with your names or to nominate another willing charter member.
I will get the list from Paul of the 12 charter/founding members.
Thank you everyone for your interest and feel free to contact us with any comments, questions or concerns.

These are the members I'm aware of in addition to those above,

todd, Jerry, bill, steve, Graham, Vern, Eric,             My count is 13, whatever the number is when we present the application, those people are the charter/founding members, so it is not to late to get your name on the application.    Norm

Already sent my POCI # back to Paul who I guess is getting the Canadian Chapter off the ground.
I just read a article from Jim Wangers that this years POCI and GTOAA will be the biggest gathering of Pontiac's ever.
I'm trying to work out a 5000 mile round trip to be there. A buddy is driving there and then grabbing some parts in London. Money and 2 weeks away are my only problems confuseconfuse

I'm in too. I searched the members roster by model type and there are only three 1973 LeMans as members, one GTO, one colonade hardtop and mine. Not sure what to think about that. My membership # is over 63,000 so they have a lot of members.

POCI web site is pretty good, lots of services offered and very highly organized. I resgistered my LeMans and GMC Suburban since it qualifies, both photos appear in members rides section. Oh ya, I put 65Camino down as an associate member.
