If anyone looking for a cost example,

I recently put a new vinyl roof on my 68 2+2.

Costs :

Roof prep :    hours and hours of scraping/sanding old adhesive
                     paint touchup where I went through the original paint

Vinyl cost :    $ 225

Apple Auto :  $ 285
Glass (Install)

Not too much money for the drastic improvement in appearance.
