Ken, either one of those would be neat cars. I got my first 65 Canso SD at 16 and have been weak for the first gen Nova/Acadians ever since. Lousy front suspension but I think they are a great looking car. A yellow 65 SS would be a cool car, 6 cyl or not. They are easily V8-ed anyway!

I had a 65 Acadian Canso also but not SD, 230/powerglide, the previous owner put floor pans in it and did 2 x 3 frame rails from the cowl back-car looked crappy but was nice under-sold it to a truck driver in the London area-(he also had a wagon)
the nova SS I paid $500 for sold it to a friend for $550 ! 1987
the Acadian was $300 sold it for $500 1991
both were road worthy cars needing cosmetics
the convertible I mentioned was $6000 tried $5000 could have had it at $5500 but left it there the side trim was missing-car was good otherwise-if I remember correct southern car, manual top 1991 or 1992 maybe 1993
