I always like watching the first few laps and about last 50 at Talladega. It is usually amazing how many cars are on the same lap at the end.

If I don't have any other committments I enjoy watching the first few laps until I fall asleep. Usually wake up with somewhere between 75 and 25 laps left to run and get to see the end.

Same as F1. Set alarm, move to Lazy-Boy, watch starting lap(s), fall asleep and wake up for the finish (sometimes).

I'm a Nascar junkie as well. Love the Super speedways!!! It's just not as enjoyable as it use to be. 2 or 3 top teams that dominate weekly, all cars that are the same body etc....

Everything changed when we lost the #3....

I've got a stock car mag from 1969 featuring an article with the top drivers pulling out of the race over tire concerns. Not a concern today with these little cars and restrictor plates but look out when it's no restrictor Talladegas and Daytona Chargers!

Wild finish! #99 flipping through th air, Edwards is a class act though. Take the plates off these things and let them run wide open! Tcot is not fun to watch, someone is gonna get killed as no jam left to pass at the end.

Hee Haw, that was a show at the end, thank God no one was injured. That has to rank up there with the all time crashes, Chevy 1,2,3 I believe. And give credit to Edwards and his Ricky Bobby finish !
