It has been for me, since Jan 2008  biggrinbiggrin      I have some pictures from last weekends show in Moncton   couple of neat 'rat rod" 52-53 pontiacs    I packed the Centerforce clutch, 30lb flywheel, and Hurst Shifter, and shifter tunnel, and all misc hardware in my luggage!!   Thanks "West Jet"   Munice M22 w/wide ratio gears and new case is being shipped this week!  Peter also changed the 12 bolt posi , that was a truck unit into a car carrier!!   It came in a bowling bag!!  lol ...

It's almost like the dirty Thirties have come full circle... Reccession/ Depression,  epidemics and pandemics etc...  Almost all this happened 70+ years ago and it's almost full circle again.

I'm bitter to see the Pontiac brand kicked to the side.  I honestly thought you would see the Buick brand go before Pontiac.  But,  which brand is Chevrolet's biggest competitor?  Pontiac.  Let's face it,  they want Chev as the low buck starter brand,  Buick next step up for middle class luxury and Cadillac as the premium brand.  GM eliminated the heavy weight between it's low buck and middle class brands.  We all know that Pontiac outsold Buick just by whats on the road.

Col. Sam and Harley Earl must be rolling over in their graves...
