Well that confirmation from m21bud explains why you thought it was a Nomad. That's a real rare car. I doubt that you could buy one in Canada in 1957 so it found it's way over the border at some point in it's life. Be nice to know it's history, I envison it coming from Hollywood, some star's grocery getter.
Now that i joined POCI I can find a lot of information. Here's some on the 57 Custom Safari:
