I am looking into having 10 sets of 1965 ACADIAN Trunk Letters produced along with 6 1966/67 ACADIAN Hood Scripts. Hope to have a price within the next 2 weeks. They will be cast from Bronze.

If they are "affordable" I would consider buying a set of 65 Beaumont Acadian letters. As a matter of interest are they different from just 65 Acadian not Beaumont letters?

Remember, "The Government" only has money confiscated from us.
As of right now cost of the 66/67 hood script will be $150 to $175 US. The 7 ACADIAN letters for the trunk around $250 US. I still have to work out some details with the casting Co, & the platers.

OUCH is right I bought a complete set at kms car parts for $25 bucks Dont get me wrong i appreciate you trying to help us get hard to find parts again but I say again OUCH
If they are now almost imposible to find and then you have to replate them, would $250 be that far off? If anyone has a rear panal or knows where one is for a 65 Beaumont with the letters in good condition for sale, I would like a PM.
Just to let everyone know who might be intrested I won't be making any money on this progect. First there is a cost of having a mold made for the script & 5 molds made for the ACDIN letters the A's can be reused. The cost of the Bronze, Plating and shipping. If you don't want the letters Chrome plated the cost would be less. And as 70 SS ACADIAN said try to find this stuff. I looked for 3 years & bought 6 Tail panels just to get one set of the ACADIAN letters and 6 years to find a complete set of SD side moldings. My cost for the 7 letters was over $300 dollars & $1,200 for the SD moldings which had to be refinished at an additional $800 cost, now that's an OUCH. sounds like a bargain to me, how much do we pay for mass produced chevelle stuff out of Taiwan ??? this would be limited production and quality made in America parts.
What happened to the 65 SD rocker moldings that you bought for $650.00 Canadian from Campbell river BC. I missed that set by two weeks, but it sure wasn't 1200.00???? I know the guy you bought them off. Does that mean that set is for sale?

The ACADIAN hood script mold is complete and trunk letter molds are almost complete. These molds should be done and ready for pouring of the bronze at the end of next week and then they will be off to plating. 10 sets have been spoken for so if anyone else needs a set let me know ASAP so I can have them poured at the same time.

I HAD THE HOOD SCRIPT SAND CAST WITH ALUMINUM A FEW YEARS AGO, BY A GUY IN ONTARIO. BY THE TIME I PAID FOR THE SCRIPT, THEN CHROMING, I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO SELL THEM FOR ABOUT $225.CDN. THERE WAS NO CALL FOR THEM,SO I DECIDED NOT TO GET ANY MORE DONE.I GUESS IF THEY WERE $25.00 I WOULD HAVE SOLD QUITE A FEW. ROGER, (SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITAL LETTERS)
1965 ACADIAN trunk letters & 1966/67 ACADIAN hood scripts are done from casting being picked up on Monday. I will get them out to plating ASAP. Will try to post pictures before plating.

To everyone that has bought a set of ACADIAN trunk letters they will be shipped on Monday. Please let me know when you receive them. I'll be sending them US mail so it might Take a while. Also I will be able to have other 65 Beaumont parts made but will have to have commitments up front to have this done, not sure o a cost at this time but if I get enough interest I will pursue it.
