What do you mean by "recycling"?

Thats what they call pouring down the drain. Not sure what they do with it but it would not be reused

Loved the ex, okanagan springs pale ale, canadian, heck sleemans steam ale as well! Alas, discovered that back in my late 20's I am allergic to something in it, as my blood pressure would climb 40-50 points when drinking it.(sigh) Well at least there's vodka, as that dosen't affect it at all!

I remember back in the early 70's when you could get Uncle Ben's Root Beer, was sold in the stubby bottles.  If I recall, they had a problem with their permits, etc and made Root Beer until they were licensed to make Beer - however that's 30+ years ago and I was a kid, so that reason is likely false info.

Speaking of being a kid, I remember in elementary school a kid from my school bus had a bottle of beer in his lunch every day - and it wasn't root beer.  If that happened today his parents would be thrown in jail.  I wonder what his favorite brand is.

Hmmm, I am going to call a technical foul on this one, Malt Liquor is not beer, it is a much stronger product smile.gif

I remember Schlitz Malt Liquor from my younger days ... Schlitz, Blatz, Pabst, all those Milwaukee beers ...

It used to be Sleeman Premium Light but like the cars and Make of car I Love they cancelled it about 2 years ago,it was $41 bucks a case.

Now nobody seems to have already mentioned this but a really great "buck a beer" is McClays also brewed by Sleeman

Also I agree with the Wildcat comments but you guys forgot to mention the wicked Hangover it produces.

He had one of his breweries here in Winnipeg and what I can remember was he had a union issue. The problem was the lack of union in his plant. He was black balled from selling out of venders so he made his own vender outside of his plant. You could get beer or pop at one place. That building is still there but a car lot.
I remember driving around and drinking pop out of a beer bottle and getting stopped by the cops. It drove them nuts.
