59poncho got me thinking. why isn't someone hauling this stuff from the praires to ontario to sell. because i've rescued stuff that looks worse than what you want to crush. does it cost that much to long distance haul? maybe i'll talk my wife into letting me change my semi retirement job?
I've said it before, the next move will be on at least an acre out of town so I can buy these cars and park them and at least part them. It'd be nice to have an outbuilding so I could keep them inside. We could then paint a giant Canadian Poncho on the outside wall!
We are keeping a lot of it....My buddy is a Packrat, and uses most everything he can from any car he scraps. All the doors are good except the passen=ger front, the mice made a nest in it and the bottom of the door rusted right out(completely) Never seen anything like it, considering the shape of the other ones. I'll be using the front bumper on my wagon, as well as the hood(mines been bondo'd) And the heater core looks good, so I'll be taking it to be tested. Hes taking the floor out also for his 59 Chev sedan delivery, Thats why he let me keep it there for so long, he knew he'd get parts off it...LOL

No one wanted a complete 60 laurentian 4door, and the other one is a 60 bel air 4 door, that runs, but not much else. The sedan delivery in the pic is my buddies, it was an oringinal 283/auto car, Pretty Rare, and hes gonna restore it, and the el camino is one he just picked up, factory #'s matching 454/auto. Neither of these are being scrapped.

The more 4dr's are scrapped, the scarcer they become! and more valuable! That 60's Pontiac is in a better condition than what my 65 Malibu was and today at the event everybody had only nice things to say! Look at the 60's Pontiac I found today, Same model, same paint code! and I swooned!
