I was out taking more pics for 68sd and the registry and noticed this plate on an old car. There was no date stickers on it so I can not tell what date it is. I know it is old but it would be nice to have the numbers and letter combination explained!! Obviously the "P" is most likely passenger but what year is it??
I never checked the front of the car but this one was on the rear of this particular one! I will have to make another trip to look at the front one. Thanks....
I guess it must be a rear plate because it has the slot for the tag.
I thought all had the "64" stamped into them. Maybe if the plate was issued after 64 there was no "64" and you just got the year tab. Not sure, maybe someone else knows why.

This got me thinking. I've been collecting license plates for years and putting them up on the wall of the shop. I prefer the older ones. 3 provinces i don't have are man, sask or nfld, if anyone can or wants to send me 1 or 2 from these provinces. truck, car, bike doesn't matter. i can send a tim card loaded with a couple of bucks to cover scrounging and postage fees.
