Do you have a digital caliper Carl? Can you get me the diameter of the input shaft?

I took trans to Car Quest  John measured the shaft for me  it was .595   the inside of the National PB-656 is .593!   I went to Goderich Napa there only had a 33.00 SKF B657  that "will" just slip on    Now (heard another story this morn.) I don't want to use roller bearing..

Dave in Florida told me to sand down the .593 inside bushing to .595 outside of shaft .. I used Dremmelcry  and now the hole in bushing is too big?   The roller bearing I bought fits, but now I am afraid of it.....  I tried to find a old cut off pilot shaft today to use as a guide (better than plastic one)  but no success... no
