Was there last year when Chris was there, got rained out on Saturday and I didn't see any cameras. But it was a good day of racing, the little we saw. LOL.
Got to check the site and see about booking that week-end off. They were pretty busy last year, glad they are coming back.

OMG! it's this week-end!
Barrie swap meet also this week-end. What to do...
Cayuga on Saturday and swap meet on Sunday?
Other way around?
Who's going this week-end?
To either event?

Plunkett's big Fleetwood Country Cruise-In is also this weekend. Barry Maguire will be there. I figure he'll be hosting his show. I'm hoping to go weather permitting. It's well worth the drive for you Toronto folks!

George Barris and Gene Winfield will also be there. I know we aren't Ford fanatics however there will be a Mustang 45th Anniversary display with over 1500(!) of them.

The site also mentions a vintage airplane airshow as well.

Plunkett's show is well worth it for anyone who has never been before, too bad it is only one day.  I will be at Barrie trying to unload some stuff.  I know of quite a few other events I'd like to attend this weekend as well, why do they all fall on the same day?  For the rest of the month, there is basically nothing going on.hmm

You are right Ian, sadly ALL Pontiac signage, etc. will all soon be historical memoribilia.  If you ever thought about getting some shots of your Poncho at a Pontiac dealer, do it now!

Hey Dan, I will be taking mostly excess literature that I have, maybe some CP and Chevy B body parts manuals, it all depends on how much time I have to go through stuff this week.  It is my first week back at work after hip surgery so I am still pretty gimpy and moving kinda slow, another reason I won't be taking much in the way of parts with me.

BTW, I have a pair of red bucket seats from I believe of 68 Cutlass that I will make a separate post about once I have some pics.  I won't be taking them to Barrie but will give CPer's first crack at them.wink

I'll be at Cayuga thursday night. (gotta get a good spot for the motorhome!) I am there all weekend. Anyone want to stop by for a cold one, let me know, and I'll hang something so I can be found!

Well the hip joint itself is fine, no pain and full range of motion from what I can tell.  What gets screwed in the operation is all of the soft tissue that they have to cut or move out of the way to get access to the joint.  I have a scar about a foot long now on my right outside hip and obviously that is where they did most of the cutting and it will take the longest to recover.  I'm still sort of numb there but the rest of the muscles are slowly coming back.  I hope to ditch using the cane within the next couple of weeks.

Sunday changes everything, I thought it was Saturday which was not working for me. Do you feel up to riding shotgun in the LeMans? About an hours drive I would think. It would be nice to go in an air conditioned Camaro but I don't think that will happen.wink We can stuff 65 Camino in the back seat behind the louvers biggrin of the LeMans. Cell phone and CAA card is all I need as security. We might see Ian there too.

Sounds like a plan, I'll bring my cell phone and CAA card as well so we will have double protection, it may even warm up by then!  Can't say I was pleased to wake up this morning on the first day of June to hear my furnace humming away!no
