We have a "Cross" member here!


Paying attention?  lol biggrin    Last week, I was needing a replacement crossmemeber for my 66 B-body..    (I had wrecked, the exisiting one, with a 50 ton press)  One of our "star" Western members e-mailed, and said he was "going home from office" to cut one out of parts car for me!!!!  It arrived today!!!   Will have it in tonight....   THANKS TO Carl3......   Cross member 003.jpg

I'm glad it showed up for you finally. Have you figured out a better way to tweek this one? I only have one more spare.

I know, your amazed at how much concrete and grease is still there after I chipped off enough to bring the weight down under 200#. Or are you amazed at how much saran wrap it took to wrap it?

I know, your amazed at how much concrete and grease is still there after I chipped off enough to bring the weight down under 200#. Or are you amazed at how much saran wrap it took to wrap it?

 



I was really heavy, and I think I like The SARAN WRAP    I think I will leave it on, so it doesn't get dirty  lol

I stopped by Carls today to check progress. It never ceases to amaze me how solid that Strato Chief is! The floors, frame and body are amazing! The 4 speed is icing on the cake. Yes, I love that car!
