If you went, post your photos here. I talked to an official who said at 11am this morning they had 2500 cars and more were piling in. They expected well over another 1000 additional cars! It was pretty amazing. I didn't see all of the cars. After about 2 hours of walking my son was getting pretty tired. It was well organized this year. As a spectator I parked about 1/2 km away and a shuttle bus took us to the show and back. Here are my photos in no particular order. I could have taken dozens more but my battery died.
Steve's house:
Legendary custom car builder Gene Winfield:
The real "Tail Dragger" and a larger than 1/64 scale matching Hot Wheels:
An "official" General Lee
I had the privilege to meet Barry Meguire. He is a really nice guy. He graciously posed for a photo with yours truly and my son. My CP shirt was in the damn wash!
They were filming for an upcoming episode.
409 Parisienne:
The Parisienne is for sale if anyone is interested. Sorry, no area code-likely 705, 613, 416, 905 or 519!
Beaumont: (damn, forgot to take a photo of the data plate!)
Inside the newly built Cadillac Showroom:
The famous million mile Volvo P1800:
The Avanti club was present with some nice specimens:
Super straight 4 speed small block 70 GS:
Some of you may not be familiar with the Art Deco trucks Labatt Breweries used in the 1930's. I believe this is the only surviving example:
There was even an area for the Amphicar club to show off their little boat-cars:
Several vintage mobile homes were present. I loved this one:
Check out the horn on this car! I have no idea what make it is. I'm sure the horn is an accessory
Inside Steve's original showroom:
RM Restorations brought this stunning V16 Cadillac:
Nice Canadian Pontiac wagon:
I left a CP card on the front seat of this one:
And this one:
502 powered bike. Hold on!
Harvards performing for the crowd. Nothing like the sound of those supercharged Allison engines!
Now that I know the logistics of the place perhaps we can do a CP run next year. You have to get there REALLY early to get a good parking spot.
The TA rag and 58 chev are from Port Colborne-I gave the 58 a trophy a couple years back-very nice car
that blue 67 beaumont rag sure looks good
The Labbatts truck ! Theres one in Windsor-I bought a shrinner car from the guy-this thing has been sitting since probably the 1950's ! Labbatts was looking to buy one in the 1990's-he would sell !!!! I'm told this one is a clone-big deal, that guy really missed out-imagine a beer company wanting to buy you vehicle !! kinda like name your price ! who else would pay more !
My computer just doesn't seem to like the photo uploader on here anymore. Page keeps freezing up so i've had to put the pics on Photobucket....here's the link. Not only did i get to cover the car show for the station, but also had tickets for the dinner and concert with Tommy James...pics of the concert taken with crappy cell phone cam. Feel free to post pics from the album on here. Oh, and that's a 3rd birthday party at the end of the album...just lumped all the pics i took yesterday into one album. Car Show!

I talked to Steve Plunkett for a minute but he was a little busy that day but i did have a nice chat with his mechanic who said next time im there or come for the cruise-in he would give me a tour. I will see if i can talk to Steve about next year having a bunch of us there.
Sorry, thats a myth its NOT Birth Control. Its a harmone replacement pill for women. His dad also invented 5 or 6 other drugs that are all used daily by people today.
