With the weather forecast calling for rain in Hamilton we waited until late morning until deciding to head out to Hamilton Motor Products on Hamilton Mountain for the All Pontiac Day held at the dealer by the Classic GTO Club of Ontario. Left TO about 12:20 pm and arrived at the dealer about 1:40 pm. Turned out to be a great day!
There were plenty of great looking GTO's there but we got to gabbing and eating Pontiac Pete's famous Italian Sausage that we darn near forgot to get some photographic evidence of the day. In the end we rushed to get most if not all Canadian poncho's and a few others too.
The best part was we got to meet Bill Markowski from just outside Buffalo New York who had his Oshawa built 73 LeMans GT there, there was the famous Pontiac Pete, Imran, Sam and Andy from the GTO Club, Chris and Beth the red Invader owners, and Colin and Allan the 1958 Affectionados from Mississauga. We talked to alot of nice folks and spread the word about Canadian Poncho.
We have a lot of photo's mostly shot by Darryl so hang onto your hats....

Maybe Hillar got a picture. We gabbed so much we were rushing to get shots before everyone left. The 4dr. was a nice solid car, when I walked past there were several guys chatting looking in the engine compartment.

All I have to say it was a great time meeting Ray, Darryl, and Hillar after chatting with you on the board. It used to be "When was the last time you saw a '73 GTO?". Yesterday's question was "When was the last time you saw a '73 LeMans GT?" and not only one, but two in the same place.
Spent too much time talking and never got to the other side of the parking lot, so the pics showed me what I missed. I really enjoy seeing so many Canadian Pontiacs. I rarely see any in the states. Kudos to the Classic GTO Club of Ontario for putting on such a nice show.

Here are the shots I got.
I spoke with him briefly but missed his name. He told me Todd gave him a card about a year ago at another show. Invader wagon knows who he is.
He said he has repainted the doors and is now looking for the correct material to redo the seats.

Thanks Hillar that is really cool. Dad and i were fairly attached to that car. We owned it for over 10 years. I did all the work on it. And have the complete history
Car looks about the same. i notice the incorrect aircleaner decal was added. I wonder why the doors were repainted???????????????????
If you do ever talk with the owner, they are welcome to call me anytime for a history lesson. I also have info on the original seat cloth. I was going to redo it before i sold it, but never had the time. I even got a sample too.
I hope it sold to a good home. (unless it is Calvin that still owns it, but i know he was trying to sell it 1yr after i sold it to him)
