Anyway, first its on kijiji, now scammers are getting on auto trader. The corvette, and Barracuda, Camaro and new Charger on there for CHEAP, I'm sure there are other cars as well. There are scam ads on there, so watch out guys. They often post blurry pictures, and really low prices for a restored/new car. And won't post their phone numbers. They did this on kijiji as well offering free shipping for the car so they get your money and take off. Bunch of @$$hole these scammers. The one selling the restored Barracuda for 4500 , was already reported by someone on another site.
no they dont. I called them about a scam ad once. Guy paid my credit card. so they said they would not try to contact the person because they paid for the ad. 1969 427 camaro for $4500, rotiserie car. Yeah right....Auto Trader told me they dotn care. They got the paid ad. Nice huh. I have had 58 cars, more than 40 advertised with the trader, Last 10 cars they screwed every single ad up. No apology. No fix. I will NEVER advertise with them again. AS much as kijiji has scammers,. its still free and I have sold everythign I ever advertised on their. Its a pain dealer with low ballers, scammers, but I have fun playing with them too,
Sorry to see you go Auto Trader. If you aren't going to clamp down on the scammers then you will soon be out of business. I gave up scanning their ads because of the phoney ads.
Had a guy want my Denali from PEI...But, He needed me to send him $1300 to insure the loan he was getting from the bank???? Wonder how many times he's tried this line and got cash out of someone??? Anyways, I'm still waiting to hear back from him, its been almost 2 months now.......LOL NOT!!!!!!!

I know, Auto Trader is getting old. But I am surprised how low they went. They used to be good. Seems all the ads are being placed on Kijiji now instead of Trader.
Nevertheless, I posted this for people to be aware, whether on Kijiji or Trader, because there are people that actually fall for this not knowing and thinking they got a good deal. Just hope these scammers get caught.
Seeing this on kijiji, and trader, hopefully it won't be like this on ebay. Especially since I hear ebay is taking out negative feedback.
Ya I also noticed the womens name at Hotmail or even Yahoo accounts.
