427Carl and I have shared some photos of our kids and grandkids in our cars, and both of us think this is (1) a very good thing and (2) worth sharing, so, I am going to start.

These are from quite a while back, circa 1978, my kids are 10/8/5:

If you look closely at the first of the above pics you can see my 66 SS396, which served as tow car, peeking its nose into the picture ... and the second one, my son is running the Hurst shifter through the gears smile.gif

So now we skip ahead a few biggrin.gif years, here are my grandkids enjoying Grandma's car in Florida, and the oldest (age 7 here) having great fun helping Grandpa do some wrenching on his 56 Canadian Poncho:

P.S. If you think the oldest daughter in the early photos bears some resemblance to the oldest granddaughter in the later photos, you would be right smile.gif

The oldest (behind the wheel ) is surely lookng forward to driving Grandpa's BIG OLD CAR (which is how they describe it), in her words "Only 7 more years!" smile.gif

And yeah Grandma keeps herself in pretty good shape for a 60-year-old (DO NOT TELL ANYONE I TOLD YOU HER AGE OR WE ALL WILL DIE!!!!!)

Yep floor shift on Grandpa's old car, I have offered to teach them how to drive in it biggrin certainly better than the f***ing Nissans and Hybrids their parents drive ...
