RE: Kids and Cars

Hair is good-looks like he's guarding the car so nobody steals the center caps-someone got away with the rings !

Excellent Todd! I can't wait for the day when my grandkids are big enough to use the big air impact wrench ... I did introduce them to the torque wrench this week:

And I'll cut them out of their inheritance if they go "tuner" on me, it's big blocks and RWD or nothing! smile.gif

My son loves the air tools. Last week he removed the oil pan from the 454. Sure, air tools weren't needed but that made it fun! Today he helped solder the wiring on my solar powered water pump. Whatever he decides to do in life (this week it's a pharmacist) I'm a true believer that he should learn rudimentary plumbing, carpentry, electricity and auto repairs. I meet so many "book smart" customers at work who haven't got a clue about the cars they drive. I bet they hire electricians to change light bulbs! In his closet at my place you'll find chemistry lab, a magnetism experiment set, an electrical experiment set, a solar cell, a glider....
We still need a model rocket :)

Model rockets are a blast (pun intended)! When our youngest son was 8, he wanted one so we built several - single stage small one at first, eventually dual stage with big motors and parachutes and all. You will need a BIG open field to shoot them off, and GOOD eyes to spot where they land, and access to a ladder in case they land on top of a school smile.gif
