Had to fix the daughters van yesterday (2002 Caravan)


The rear spring shackle bolt broke.  You see that small, what looks like a pin in the pic. Thats the bolt!! Its a 8 mm in thickness, close to 5/16 in. Looks like a nail. Thats is whats holding the rear springs on. Boy what crap. I managed to put a larger 3/8 bolt in. Also changed the rear shocks while I was at it. The next thing is to repair the front sway bar end links as both have brocken off and are rattling around. Well you got to help your kids out. Saved them on labour charges.
