70 Acadian SS 350 4spd

Any idea how many SS 4 spd cars were built ?  I sighted this car at our cruise and the owner said I could post his car. Its a 56k miles original paint body.

The emblems look the same as on 69 Beaumonts and full size Pontiacs.

Just looked at the 70 brochure and is badged correctly.

I see on the Acadian numbers that there were 1200 and some 2 door 1970 Acadians so that leaves me to believe fewer SS models and fewer yet 4spds ??

This one has the correct tail panal. They did not put SS on the rear of these cars. If you see it again , please take shots of the engine.

Mine looks like it never had smog on it yet I have been told all 4 speed cars had it. My brother bought his with 16,000 miles and does not remember if having smog. Ask him if he has the original air breather. Very hard to fined an original that hasn`t been changed at some point. Thanx for posting

Mine did not come with the tach but I would like to put one in. What is your buddy asking for the tach dash? Also are the numbers and letters lite green (69-70) or white (71-72) ? thanx

Scanned in from my 1970 Pontiac sales brochure. Shows a few details questioned  earlier with respect to wheels and fender flashes.

The whole photo has been "lightened". The front SS script looks different.

No nothing yet Carl.
Can you give me more info. on the Moncton car ... is it for sale on a site? Pictures?
I'm seeing about a early 6o's Parisienne Sport in Maine. I'd like to bring a Canadian made car back to it's homeland.
There is also a 73 LeMans on PEI that I'm checking into next week when the owner gets back on the island ... I'm not sure if it's Canadian or not ... his wife doesn't know.

VIN position 7 will be a 1 for Oshawa.

If it is a letter see below:
P = Pontiac MI
Z = Fremont CA
B = Baltimore MD
G = Framingham MA
A = Atlanta GA
R = Arlington TX

US sites rarely show Oshawa plant in listing.
