Thank you very much!     Its a driver, unrestored survivor, and without the incouragement of "you guys" on this site, it would be gone, off to any new owner a year ago.. I have a history, with a car identical to this, 43 years ago..  It looks better than it is, and I wish it was a nice as some on this site, but it is a rare "old bird" now, and like it owner is "not perfect"   Keep wrenching and saving our History!!!   Carl 2 of 3

Carl,  Perfection is in the eyes of the beholder!  And with my eyes (reading glasses and all),  an original driver that you can beat the hell out of and have fun with is far more "perfect" than any of the "trailer queen - Trophy Mantle" rides we see at the local shows.  Glad you kept it and now enjoying it!

Long live the Driver Survivors!!!!!!!!!!  (And all us old Dudes too!)

I'd say when you go to the track no trims. On that Sunday cruise put the trims on. Best of both.

I agree, why build a car that you are afraid to drive? These car were built to rip up a rainforest worth of rubber on the weekends, then get you to work on Monday. Good for  you, keep the wrenches and tires spinnin'.biggrin

I also agree! My 65 Malibu has become a daily runner and the more it is used, the better, more dependable and smoother it becomes. I sold my Nissan Sani (Pathfinder) as the Malibu is just as comfortable and economical!
