Looked like a nice day. Great pics, thanks for posting. I liked the 64 parisienne. Got a soft spot for those. The 68 Beaumont with the 69 grill is interesting but nice looking.

How do you tell this is a 68 with a 69 grille?
I figure the vent windows tell us it is a 68, yes?
I figure the slanted Beaumont script tell us it is a 69 grille, yes?
Yea the vent windows on a convertable 68, In 69 the vent windows were only on the wagons, four doors and two door sedan cars. The grill and headlight buckets are also different on the 68. The plastic grill inserts on the 68 are more of a honeycomb style on 69 sloted. The 68 Beaumont script is in print style the 69 writen style. See below pic of 68, you can see the headlight buckets are different. Also the side marker lights are higher up on the fender, closser to the fender crease on a 69. Just a note on the slanted script on above car, it is a 69 but should not be slanted on the grill. Only slanted on the trunk ,straight on the grill. He put it on incorrect.

I built that bike 12 years ago for my wife. her nickname is Kat, so i asked her what to name the bike and she said KitKat. its got a 5mm overbore taking it up to a 1105 with wiseco pistons. the reason it was in the back shop when you were here was that i was rewiring another bike of the same model.
