Are they 202's ? The double bump just means they are the small chamber big valve heads but they are usually 1.94 intake valves in those heads

If  a picture of the valve side was shown we could soon tell, 2.02 /1.60 basically touch , the 1.94/ 1.5 have a small space between them.

I HAVE A SET OF THESE HEADS IN MY SHED. MINE ARE STOCK WITH THE 1.94/1.5 VALVES. DID THEY ALSO COME STOCK WITH THE BIGGER VALVES? I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE BELIEVE DOUBLE BUMP MEANS 2.02. I THOUGHT MINE WERE 2.02 UNTIL A FRIEND INFORMED ME THEY WERE NOT. I CHECKED THEM AND HE WAS RIGHT THEY WERE NOT.

Double hump, camel back whatever they are called came in two valve variations depending on engine & casting #, 1.94/1.5 or 2.02/160.

I thought they could have the same casting numbers but some were 1.94 others 2.02... 1.94 would be more common too i would think...

So we still need a picture of the valve side to tell for sure what's in these 291's.

Just out of interest has anyone ever flow benched stock 194's to compare to stock 202s? I doubt there would be too much difference, i wonder how well gm unshrouded the combustion chamber around the 202s or did they just cut the 194 seats and thats it? a pic of a stock 202 chamber would answer that i suppose... I remember when i ported my 461s that there was alot of meat under the 194 valve and opened up the hole would be bigger than the stock 202 head...

My little Pontiac has a RD code 64 Vette motor and I installed some Ray White valve covers on it, and sent my others to  B.C.   the heads are matching 64 "461"s  biggrin
