Heard radio ads today that Wallace Chevrolet Buick Cadillac is the first approved full product line GM dealer in Ontario, it's in Milton. Ad also said GMC and Chevy Trucks.
Actually Pontiacs, well some of them anyway, will continue to be produced through next year, although 2010 will be the last model year. Models will be phased out at different times. In effect, the G8 is already gone, limited to existing stock in Canada.
The so called "new GM" is really getting off to a bad start in this regard. A friend of mine has been trying to buy a new G8 for months. Even though they are splashed all over the GM website as being available for $28K, he could not find a single one at that price in Ontario. In fact, he could only find a couple, period, and half of those were demonstrators that the dealer was effectively offering no discount on. He finally gave up and bought a brand new SRT-8 Charger that with incentives and his trade in, he paid just about $28K for. He is very happy as he says the Charger will blow the doors off any G8 and Chrysler treated him very well compared to the run around he received from GM - both dealers and corporate. Another customer lost GM, well done!

Well Hillar I have to agree with you. Same old BS at GM. I just got my Customer Loyalty package in the mail from Chrysler. They are trying to keep customers and I have to admit I get treated well by my local Chrysler dealer ( very good friend works there) Whenever my Charger R/T has been in for service I always get a loaner and, I love my HEMI! The G8 is a cool car, but it still looks like a '99 Catera to me.
