The supply of private contractors to do the work is endless. Maybe those who work in the "Public Service" should actually practice "Public Service" confuse

Just Curious, how much does a Plumber or Electrician have in tools?

Electrician, about 10000.00 if you are a commercial electrician not including a van. Meters, circiut tracers, pipe benders, drills, saws, ladders, telephone tools, data tools, cat 6 tester is 5000.00 to 10000.00 but I can't afford one. It varies to the type of work you do. There is a contractors licience, business licience, insurance bond, and general liability insurance which totals up at about around 1500.00 a year.

Any progress on a settlement? I can't see a city like Toronto being able to tolerate trash pile-up in the dead heat of summer for more than a few days.

Looks like we're digging in. Pretty much all Canada Day events are cancelled, parades, fireworks you name it. Nineteen temporary dumps have been set up. We also have a new system with huge containers supplied to each home. Garbage is picked up every two weeks so I can store two weeks in my huge bin and it seals tight so no problem right now. I'm good for another week at least. Businesses don't have City pick up anyway for the most part. Personally I'm willing to tough this one out.
