Yeah, I'm sort of annoyed that Jacko the Wacko has caused Farrah's death to be virtually ignored. I don't think his musical accomplishments overcome what a freak he had become in the last couple of decades.

WW...that's exactly what I just said to a couple of co-workers!.
As far as musical accomplishments, personally I was never 'thrilled' w/ his music and ABC was the last Jackson song I ever liked..

SWEET!!!! Now i'll have to dig it up from my mom's place. It was the first record i got on my 8th birthday, not counting kids stuff. I'm glad i don't have cable right now. As it is really only 1 channel will be wall to wall Jacko. I don't mind them talking about his music career. No matter how you slice it he did have an effect there. It's just all the damned gossip and crap that's going to be talked about just to fill air time to keep talking about him. I'd hate to think of how bad it would be if Elvis or John Lennon died in this celebrity tabloid driven hell we live in now.
Now off to put that vintage early 1983 copy of Thriller on ebay..whooo hahahaha
Every restaurant/cafe/patio I walked by today at lunch at his music blasting out non-stop. Funny how before yesterday, I hadn't heard a Jacko tune on the radio for years....

No doubt this guy had a lot of problems, but I wish no one harm. Very odd person, vilified in the media for years. But now that he's dead, we have wall to wall media coverage. It's like there's nothing else going on in the world.
Agree. Same thing happened when Anna Nicole Smith died. If you think about it logically, it's insane to have so much coverage of the passing of a single individual. But that's the world we live in - devoted to celebrity worship. If I see someone famous or well known, I go the other way. Nothing against them, I just don't want to get caught up in the chaos.
Attached is a you tube video link where one CNN commentator expressed his frustration with the Anna Nicole Smith coverage.
If ever one wondered about His Weirdness, and how he got so messed up, just take a look at his publicity-hound, shít-eating-grin-faced father (Joe), and listen to him hustling his new record company before Michael has even had a freakin' funeral.

Unbelievable. What is wrong with that man?
Just listening to his father Joe speak makes you realize why Micheal never had a chance at a normal life. What a dickhead!
