This is a true story that happened to my son about 8 hours ago.

He finished his shift at Awenda Provincial Park at 2:00 am, his partner needs a lift home so no problem he lives just about 1/2 a concession away. Drops his partner and he remarks looks like no one is home, strange.... but he gets out, see ya tomorrow etc...

Ryan drives to our cottage, where he is living for summer, motion sensors light up driveway and deck as he drives in. He goes in and and starts to take a shower as normal before hitting the hay. He hears three short taps on the door. Grabs a towel and expecting to see his partner opens the door. An old man is sitting in one of the deck chairs:

Ryan: "Can I help you"

Old Man: "How do I get out of here"

Ryan: "Where do you want to go?"

Old Man: "Hamilton"

Ryan:" Take beach road to Concession 16, go through LaFontaine, take a right on County Rd. #6, follow that to HWY #27, take #27 to Barrie, get on the HWY 400 and go to Toronto, take the 401 to the 403 and you'll be at Hamilton."

The Old man gets up walks off the deck and down the driveway and disappears, Ryan never heard or saw a car.

Hmmm.... Could be ghost or crazy old coot. Most ghosts don't ask for directions...

Speaking of ghosts- my house has been normal for months. I miss them!

Well we found out from the OPP that they found this man wandering around this morning and returned him to his "home", no public danger or threat reported.

Penetanguishine is a town that is about 15 minutes away by car.  In that town there is a Hospital for Mental illness and as well as a correctional institution for the criminally insane. When we were kids we would often hear the sirens at the institutions when somebody went wandering and we often joke about seeing the "Day Passers" in and around town. Apparently Paul Bernardo has been or is a guest at this facility so the idea of Jason being out and abouut is not that far fetched.
