Good idea Andrew, but would they agree to that?

The one with the line under it is on the Beaumont series the one with the backing plate would be the Beaumont Custom and I think Sport Deluxe series.

Beaumont economy series (this was also used on the 68 Deluxe)

Well, if they wouldn't, makes the decision to deal with them pretty easy. We put guarantees on all kinds of deals... its common, rental cars, hotel room, equipment, construction typically has 50% of the value bonded, etc.etc. the original SD rear chrome is rare, what "insured value" would you place on it? It's worth more than $1200... if i borrowed mine out to someone i'd want to know i'm covered to go out and buy another set (which is near impossible to find)...

Yes I don't think I would get much sleep if I sent it out, and if something when wrong you get money but your car has no trim.and your right try and find some.

I had actually talked to DT Stainless about it. unfortunately I don't have a sample to offer. I know I don't want to fill in the mounting holes for the trim and repaint it so I'll keep looking

Would you consider  selling  your  rear trunk lid ring for a 67??

Do you happen to have a spare set of 67 Beaumont custom series tail panel letters?? Missing the letter "T", but would buy the whole set if you have.
