Did Billy May infest your TV commercials in Canada?

I always scrambled frantically for the remote to change the channel, or at least hit the mute button, whenever that loudmouth came on ...

Oh yeah, his obnoxious style is well known here in Canada. Does that hard sell pitch still work?
I find it hard to believe people buy that type of sales gimmick.

Billy was annoying but it sure made him rich. Any yes it still works. Our car club was selling tickets at a show and I sold more tickets in 6 hours than the rest of the club in 24. When I was selling I had 2 people collecting money and the people were lined up 6 deep. The rest of the time they were lucky if they had 1. Get In peoples faces once you have their attention if you have a good product they will buy. My dad is a car salesman and he could see a car to a blind man
